From the West \ Edinburgh Airport | A8
From Gogar Roundabout, follow the A8 through Corstorphine / Murrayfield to
its end into Princess St; turn left into Prince St; turn left into South
Charlotte St, passing Charlotte Square on your left. At the bottom of north
Charlotte St, turn right into Queen St. Follow this and you'll pass on
your right the Scottish National Portrait Gallery. You are now in York
Place and you'll see The Osbourne Hotel on your right.
If you pass the Hotel and go on round the Roundabout, as though
you're coming back on yourself, you can stop off to load/unload baggage.
From the South East on the A1
Following the A1 and signs for the city Centre, eventually passing
Meadowbank Sports Centre on your right, and into London Road, halfway along
London Road, take the left fork into Montrose Terrace; follow to the end; this
become Waterloo Place
Facing you on your left is The Balmoral Hotel and on your right, Register
House. At this junction, take a right into Leith St; on your left is St
James Shopping Centre and St Mary's Cathedral. At the Roundabout, take a
left and the Osbourne is immediately on your left.
From the South / M6 / M74
Coming up to the M74 at Junction 8, take the A71 to Edinburgh; follow to its
end and then at Calder Junction, continue straight ahead on the A71 along Gorgie
Road, then Dalry Road. At Haymarket station, straight ahead into Princes
St. Then follow directions above for Edinburgh Airport.
From the North / North East
Coming along the M90 / A90, follow Queensferry Rd to its very end into
Princes St. Then follow directions above for Edinburgh Airport.
